Due to the ongoing restrictions surrounding Covid-19, we regret to confirm that we will be unable to hold our annual Holiday Club in Summer 2020.
Please keep checking back either here or on our Facebook page for details of other Children and Family events we will be looking at once the current lockdown period is eased.
Every year here at Rushmere Baptist Church we hold a Holiday Club in the school summer holiday's.
Check back for details of our next Holiday Club, more information available from early next year.
Who can Come ?
Holiday Club is open to all children aged 5-11 (Reception – Year 6) and is FREE.
What happens at Holiday Club?
There is a fun, action packed program everyday. Each day starts at 10 am and finishes at 1.30 pm, for the whole week. There are puppets, singing, a chance to hear exciting bible stories, play games, there are crafts to do, a movie, a quiz and lot’s more.
The children love coming and there is no time to get bored.
As a parent do I have to come?
No. You can just leave your children with us for the morning. The Holiday Club is well staffed and supervised with a high staff to child ratio, everyone involved in Holiday Club is DBS (formerly CRB) checked and your children are well looked after.
Do I have to register a place for next year?
Our Holiday Clubs are very well attended. We normally have 100+ children, so we do require you to book a place. We will provide a booking form which you will be able to download from this website.
The children that come along have a great time. Some of the most shy children come on the Monday a little worried and perhaps scared, but by lunch time they have been transformed and want to come back the next day. Unfortunately we only run the club for one week.
