TK VISION STATEMENT
TK provides compassion and practical support to women facing a variety of vulnerable circumstances through the provision of:-
(a) Recovery groups meeting in and around Ipswich for any woman needing support with their addictions.
(b) A community (The Hope Centre) where vulnerable women can receive support and encouragement to realise their potential.
TK is a charity with a clear Christian ethos, we offer healing and hope for any woman who seeks it.
We work with our primary stakeholders who are Christians with a compassionate heart, and partnerships with third sector organisations, statutory authorities, private companies, and individuals. The women are referred to us or approach us for assistance.
The project name means ‘little girl, get up’ and is taken from the Bible. However, our service and ministry is open to those of any belief or none.
Our Patron is the Right Reverend Mike Harrison, Bishop of the St Edmundsbury and Ipswich Diocese.

TWO for the ‘price’ of one!! Baptist Mission Society - World Mission Sarah & Paul Brown
Since Sarah visited and shared with us here at RBC, she has completed her training (in May 2011) in preparation for service in Thailand.
During her training year Sarah met Paul and they were married in June 2011.
In September 2011 Paul began his own training in preparation for moving to Thailand in September 2012 together with Sarah.
Sarah formerly ran her own business and she will use her creative and business skills to empower women who have been caught in the sex trade.
Paul, who formerly worked in accountancy, will help with administration in a women’s shelter alongside Sarah, as well as mentoring young men.
Their home churches are New Testament Church of God, Aylesbury, and Mile End New Testament Church, London.
Please pray for: -
- Paul as he is now in training.
- Sarah as she starts a counselling course & community work, that these will further enhance her skills for use in Thailand.
