Induction of our new minister

The Revd Heather Marsden will be inducted as our new minister at Rushmere Baptist Church at 3.00 pm on Saturday 11 September 2010. Everybody is welcome to join us. Refreshments will be served after the service. There will be no parking in the vicinity of the church, instead you can park in the large St Andrew’s Church, Rushmere, car park and transport to and from the Baptist church will be provided.

Fancy doing an Alpha course?

Would you like to do an Alpha course? Alpha is the famous introduction to Christianity used all over the world by churches of many denominations. We have one starting at Rushmere Baptist Church in the autumn. The sessions are all on a Saturday morning, beginning with breakfast at 8.30 am and finshing around 11.00 am. The introduction is on Saturday 4 September 2010, with the first course session on Saturday 18 September 2010. Full Immersion?

We have a service of Believer’s Baptism by immersion, conducted by the Revd Heather Marsden, set for 10.45 am on Sunday 5 September 2010 when six people will be baptised as a witness to the fact that they are following Jesus.
