Welcome to our website. Please take a look round and see what is happening here at Rushmere Baptist Church. We at RBC are a lively and growing church of all ages and backgrounds, and are famous for our warm welcome. You will find lots of useful information about us by using the various links from this homepage. We would love you to come along and join us either on a Sunday or for any of our mid week activities. Whether this would be your first experience of church, or you have been a Christian for years you will always be made welcome. You'll find us near the Chestnut Pond in The Street, Rushmere, on the eastern edge of Ipswich. Please come along and join our church family as we serve and worship God together.

Upcoming Services and Events.


Sunday 31st July 2016

Morning Worship 10.45am: Led by our Minister Rev Heather Marsden, there will be a crèche available for the tiny tots, and groups for all children aged between 3 - 16 years of age. After the service there will be refreshments served and a chance to chat.

Evening Worship 6.30pm: NO Evening Service at Rushmere, but please join us for the first United Service of the Summer at Nansen Road Baptist Church when the speaker will be Rev Norman Tharby.

 Pyramid Rock Holiday Club has arrived!!!

Our Holiday Club this year is following the amazing story of Joseph, we have over 100 children learning everyday and having a great time with craft, games and bible stories - why not check out our Facebook page for daily updates, just follow the link at the bottom of this page.                                                         

Holiday at home

Wednesday 10th August 2016 10am to 4.30pm

If you are of retirement age and would like to meet new people, have a coffee, do some craft, enjoy some fun light exercise, listen to some musical entertainment, have a 2 course lunch and afternoon tea, then Holiday at home at RBC is just for you.  There is a small cost of £10 per person.  If you would board game 2like to come then click on the registration form link below, print off the form, and return it us. Or alternatively call 01473 721455 and leave a message and someone from the Holiday at home team will get back to you.

If you would like to come but do not have any transport still call us, we are sure we can help, we would love to have you join us.
